You could easily drive along this hotel. It’s above a McDonalds and the entrance is in a side street where you would drive along too. Strange, because there are rooms in the front of the hotel. When parking the car in front of the door, you feel a bit lost, what is a five star hotel doing here? Or more important is this really a five star hotel?
reception
How bad can a first impression be? Inside it becomes clear that love at first side isn’t committing. The lobby is big and looked after very good, the same counts for the adjoining restaurant. Friendly ladies and gentlemen welcome us with a smile. Typical American one might think, which isn’t all that bad.
public areas
This very modern hotel, it’s only a few years old, knows some public hikers. Next to the entrance there is a bar that goes up in the lobby. It looks very fresh and modern. At the back there is a nicely decorated restaurant where in the open kitchen meals are prepared. The hotel looks clean and is decorated with full attention.
rooms
The different rooms are decorated in the American style. Just big enough and furnitured with all the needful things. Typical for the business traveller is the safe with the socket to load up the laptop. And typical American is the sign to hang no coat hanger on the sprinkler installation. The rooms are very clean and neat, only the curtains are the opposite. A recommendation is the Presidential Suite, which can be paid for by the less rich people too.

This hotel has no halls. Maybe the restaurant can be rented for a party?
situation
In walking range of Manneke Pis, but just on the wrong side of a big crossroad. Everywhere around you will find the facilities of the big city Brussels is. The cultural centre has all its needs. You can park your car easily, because of the many parking garages.
